The Nationals, 3GN’s yearly championship, will be held at the Southern Tactical shooting range in Holt, Florida.
HOW IT WORKS
Simply connect MantisX to the accessory rail of any firearm, just like you would any other firearm attachment. Then install the smartphone application, turn on MantisX, and pair the device with a phone via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE or Bluetooth 4.0). The attachment communicates your shooting performance, identifies areas of improvement and tracks progress over time. Mantis X tracks the movement of your handgun’s barrel during the trigger pull. Shots are grouped according to movement pattern similarity. Thus, the device gives each user a shot-by-shot analysis and analyzes trends in your shooting performance.
Each shot is scored depending on how much you moved away from your sighted position during the trigger pull. The perfect score is 100 (basically impossible unless locked in a vise). If you tend to shoot left, the app will indicate this in the results. After a few shots, the training device shows the pattern of your movement.
Analyzing an individual shot or the group of shots, MantisX provides you with a suggestion that could improve your shooting mechanics. In addition, It offers coaching tips to know how to focus your efforts in the next round of shooting.
“We are excited to showcase Mantis X to the 3-Gun Nation fans, followers and competitors” said Austin Allgaier, President of Mantis Tech. “Whether you shoot 3-gun, shoot recreationally or strictly self-defense, the system is a proven training aid that you can use in the comfort of your home or in live fire training.”
The 3-Gun Nation Nationals will be 8 challenging stages of fire over a 2-day format. In cooperation with Southern Tactical Range, the event will feature a significant vendors row featuring several local and national companies. The match also features a $100 discount on the match fee for any military or Law enforcement personnel. To register for the event CLICK HERE >>>
