On the next episode of 3GN Live, we take a look at steel and specialty target presentations, belt and holster combinations, a 3GN PCC match and the first 3GN Shoot-Off
This week, on 3GN Live, presented by NRA Sports, we break down some of the different steel and specialty target presentations you’ll face in action shooting, go over belts and holsters, and feature a fun 3GN PCC event. And then we’ll wrap up the show by taking a look back at the very first 3GN Shoot-Off.
Target presentations make the match, their size and and distance, as well as how they’re presented within a given array, dictating the way in which one approaches a stage. So we got out on the range and broke down several different types of targets, and the way they were presented, to help with your stage plan in your next match.
Aside from the guns you need for a specific event, arguably the most important gear choices you will make
center around your belt and holster combination, as its here where you will most likely carry all the gear you’ll need to compete. So we caught up with veteran competitor Dean DeTurk to break down what you need to compete at the highest level.
We recently visited Ne Tripoli, PA, for the 3GN PCC, Shotgun & Pistol Challenge at Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club. The folks in Pennsylvania did a tremendous job with this single-gun challenge, so check out our video coverage of this spectacular event.
In our final segment, we take a look back at the inaugural 3GN Shoot-Off back in 2010. It was there, at Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun, where 3GN went from concept to reality, and where Keith Garcia emerged as one of the brightest rising stars in the game. You won’t want to miss this amazing look back at a talented field of 3-Gun stars.
Episode #4 airs this Thursday at 7 PM EST, featuring gear tips, product review and match listings.
