3GN’s Goedhart to Design, Build Stages for local club match, help setup Arena for future club matches, all while performing a dry run for upcoming South Regional Championship in May
The 3GN Team heads to Arena Training Center April 21 for the Georgia range’s inaugural 3GN Club Series Match. Regional Series Director Larry Goedhart and 3GN staffers will be onsite to design and build stages, bringing major match production to a local club match. The effort is designed to help Arena take its first steps at the local match level successfully, while also serving as a great opportunity for 3GN to get the lay of the land for the upcoming 3GN South Regional Championship in May.
“Helping Arena with their first club match is a great opportunity,” said 3GN’s Chad Adams. “Not only do we get to show folks at the local level all the ways in which we plan, build and administer a match, but we also get to bring some big-match flavor to a local club match. It’s a unique opportunity for local shooters in the area to get some solid practice leading up to our big event there in May. And we plan on going pretty big for a club match, as we get the feel for the potential of this amazing facility.”
The April 21 3GN Club Series match will feature 5-6 stages, with at least three bigger stages and two 3GN Classifier stages, including Crash and Burn and Fly by 2. Maximum distance is expected to be around 300 yards, and the round counts will be approximately 125 pistol, 100 rifle and 75 shotgun. This combination of field courses and fast 3GN Classifiers should provide an interesting mix of 3-Gun challenges, from long-range engagements to extremely fast arrays.
For stage design, Arena provides a remarkable collection of long-range areas, shoot houses, and bay complexes, providing seemingly limitless opportunities for 3-Gun fun! You’re gonna want to shoot with us in April at the Arena.
