Utah’s Newest 3GN Club Series Match Kicks Off this weekend at Manti 3GN
Manti 3GN, one of the latest to join the 3GN Club Series, kicks off its inaugural match this weekend, Feb. 10. The match will run from approximately 11 AM to 4 PM, with three stages of fire scheduled, including two 3GN Classifiers. Match fee is just $15; beginners and pros alike welcome. Eye and ear protection, along with chamber flags, are required.
3GN Classifiers:
Stage 1 – 3GN 41 Multi-Gun Classifier 41-17 “A New Twist”
Stage 2 – 3GN 38 Multi-Gun Classifier 38-17 “Run the Line”
Held at Rock Canyon Rifle Range, which already hosts long range competitions, Manti 3GN promises to be a low-key atmosphere with fun shooting in a desert locale.
“We just wanted to provide an alternative shooting support to the community instead of long range,” explained match director Brett Edwards. “And that’s why we are doing it. We have about 20-25 people coming to this one, and about 19 of them, this is their first ever multi-gun shoot of any kind, so we are going to take it slow.”
Edwards also runs Manti Manufacturing, a business that manufactures and sells gun cleaning and gunsmithing tools, another example of a local firearm industry company integrating itself into the shooting sports at the grassroots level. 3GN is excited to partner with this latest effort from Manti 3GN and all the shooters in Utah.
